Would this be a clogged Cat converter?
For about a month now, my car has been missing, jerking, sputtering and sluggish. I have no idea what it is. 4 new spark plugs, new cap, new rotor, new distr., new wires, injectors are fine according 2 mechanics.
Its fine when i start it up and start driving. After about 5-7 minutes, it starts acting up. Evenutally it gets horrible, jerking.. missing @ idle, speeding up, driving, does not matter.
To me it sounds like maybe when something heats up, it causes an issue? I have had a "P420 catlyst efficency below threshhold" code for EVER and i figured it was a sensor.
My car is a 1998 Honda civic EX(170k miles) with a 4 cyl. v-tech (i think its vtech) single cam i believe.
