Leak or condensation? Please help!
I drive a '94 EJ1 (EX Coupe). It basically sits in my backyard under a car cover and I work on it, so it doesn't get driven much. I go out there the other day (I hadn't been out there in about 1.5-2 weeks). It had rained quite a bit and been really cold. When I got into my car, I noticed quite a bit of water on the inside of my front and rear windows.
Now, I pulled down my back seats, and felt for any water on the carpet in my trunk and it turned up nothing. I went back out there yesterday, and the water was only on my back window after I had dried it up and it had not rained yesterday.
I then go out there again today and it had rained and my windows were all dry on the inside. I'm worried that I might have a leak because I don't want to start getting mold in my car.
Now, the weather stripping is torn on my back window where the corners of the trunk (part of the trunk that is closest to the rear window) is torn a bit. I went to a local auto glass place today and the guy said that a torn weather stripping wouldn't cause the water to appear on the inside of my windshield.
Can someone please help me. I need to know how this moisture is getting into my car.

If it is really bad where there are water droplets the form on the window, and drip then its a leak. Other wise it is just condensation. If you fill a zip lock back full of air, put it in the fridge there will be condensation because its cold. Don't worry about it.
I am highly interested in your gauge cluster. I just registered for this forum yesterday, so I am still on trial limitations, otherwise I would have PM in the classifieds. If you could please email me at mrmaxrebo@hotmail.com . Id like to know if it works, and what was it out of. I live in WA so picking it up is not a problem.

There isn't any water droplets on the dash (well there was, only like 1 or 2) and the carpet isn't wet in the back. There is just a lot of water droplets on the inside of my front/rear window.

Re: Leak or condensation? Please help! (JDM-EJ1)
i'm guessing this is due to condensation from leaving the car outside for so long with a (possible) leak. so my guess is if there was a leak prior, that doesn't neccessarily mean the seat covers would be wet. it could have worked its way down to the cushion. not only there, but moisture could be hiding in the nooks and crannies of your car, and if the interior temp. becomes slightly warmer, a little humidity and condensation could cause the build up of your water droplets. my only suggestion is to try to air it out, a complete day or two, about 5-8 hrs a day... but that might be a little difficult for you since you live in WA. or you could just put in some time and sit in your car with a blow dryer, making sure you hit all the corners and hidden spots where there can be moisture build up. these tend to stay in the car for a long time because it takes longer for these spots to dry (not exposed to moving air, not enough circulation, etc.) ... hth

And see the thing is, I've never had a leaking problem (atleast to my knowledge) before. So, either I'm getting a bad leak all of a sudden or it's just condensation.

Condensation definately, If it was a leak you would have a lot more than just water droplets on the inside of your windows. It's the same thing that happens to a glass of water during the summer. My advice just don't worry about it as the weather warms up the problem will go away

Definitely. Your car isn't air tight, so with alot of moisture in the air, you will get condensation on the windows.
