Default konig rims help.. reply please

Hi, I currently have a lowered 96 Civic and i currently have the stock rims/tires. But today my friend sold me his rims, they are Konig Holes 17x7 45offset. I was wondering what should do?

Should i put my stock springs back on or should i buy some cheap coilovers thats around $50-$60 on ebay, like these for example.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

To whichever one you chose, can you please explain why?. Also would i still need the camber kits?

Can someone explain to me what this number stands for, the "40" in 205/40/17?

40 = sidewall height as a percentage of tire width

yes they will fit your lowered civic very well. Those with a 1.5" drop will fill the tire well perfectly.

the "40" means that the sidewall is 40% of 205mm. if it was a 225-40-17 then it would still be 40% just 40% of 225mm. so basically the sidewall of a 205-40 is smaller than one that is 225-40. And a 205-40-17 on a wheel with a 45mm offset will fit your civic with no problems even with the lowering springs.
