I am about to purchase some new rims and I was wondering if I could put 215 with tires on rims without any problems?? will it scrup if I run 215 or will I be forced to stick to the 205 width tires??? please help!!!!

 

They are 17X7 enkei rims please HELP!!!!

 

My setup is 215/40R16's on 16x7 wheels and I have no rubbing.

It all depends on how low your car is going to be. The shop I went to said 205/40/17 was stock height (with 17's rims) I have h&r springs and they were like I would have to shave the bumpstops. But I've seen the setup with someone who had coilovers and it was fine.

 

I am also running 16x7 rims with 215/40/16's. I have absolutely no rubbing. I also had the car lowered on a set of sportlines before I got my Prokits and even then I still would only run when I locked the wheel makin a left hand turn.

 

I am at stock height as of now but I plan on dropping it 1.5 inch via some eibach springs.
