just making sure
my b16a is on its way as we speak...
i own a 94 dx coupe...
long story short... im a little confused about the wiring
anyway a good member of h-t has decided to give me an ex harness since its already wired up for vtec...
my question is... since the jdm engine harness is on the opposite side of usdm... how do i go about wiring the harnesses up?... and is it hard to replace my dx harness with the ex... if i had to switch my chasis harness to the other side... i was thinking about putting the ecu under my seat that way the wires would not have to go through the whole dash... any suggestions... im just looking for a little help
edit:
also will i be able to pull the whole motor with tranny attached and all that out through the hood or will i have to do it through the bottom?

I thought you just swapped in the JDM engine and the EX harness with vtec already in the harness would just plug in and your ecu would be in the normal spot. I'm sure that is how it is. Isn't it?

Re: (zeroek)
Well the problem is that the harness on JDM motors is on the opposite side because they are made for right hand drive cars. So where our driver side is now, would be there passenger and thats where their ecu would be located. The only reason I'd put it under my seat is because it would be so much easier to run through the dash.
