hello everyone,

my girlfriends car suddenly has starting to have this problem where it will have a small jumpy idle during warm up, after pressing the gas from a stop, it is jumpy and seems like its having NO acceleration, once this happens it will either rev high or stall completely. then you have to put the car in park, and completely turn it off and turn it back on. i cleaned the air control valve. the car is a 1999 Civic Lx. I have no idea what it could be. any suggestions? after cleaning it a check engine light came on, so i am going to be checking the code on the car later tonight or tomorrow morning. I will post letting you guys know what code pops up.
