Default jumpy idle with obd1 conversion..

its a 99 dx, 99 LS motor, 99 si wiring harness, 92 integra pr4 ecu.. boomslang harness..

it idles fine when cold.. but once i start driving and come to a stop light, the idle will fluctuate badly.. under 500, then up to 1000, back and forth.. sometimes it'll stall out.. it'll idle fine when i start it up and the engine is already warm.. but once i touch the throttle it goes crazy.. any ideas what it could be? i cleaned out the IACV and throttle plate..

Unplug the EVAP purge solenoid in the fuel rail and see what happens. This usually helps idle issues on OBD1 conversions, but usually during the initial warmup cycle (first 5 minutes of driving maybe).

Wouldn't you be better off using a 94-95 P75 ecu? Maybe that's the issue, using a B18A ecu on a late model B18B. Normally I wouldn't think it's a big deal, but since you have an issue. If you know someone with a P75 maybe they'll let you borrow it to see what happens...
