Putting a 96 r motor in my friends 94 eg si , Can i use the dseries harness with the type r motor?

yes with a few modications.


and from what i am told, it makes the job alittle easier as well.

So we hooked the dseries harness to the R motor two obviouse things need to be changed. The alternator and the distributor plugs. The dseries harness has two plugs for the sohc distributer , and the bseries distributer only needs one plug. The d series harness has the obd1 round green connector for the alternator when the bseries alternator has the smaller plug thats square.

Does anyone know which wires i need to swap for the plugs to work the same.
