Default JDM speedo problem

I got a EK9 CTR cluster in my 97 EJ8 (EX). The other day I went to the store and my speedo stop working. Everything else works. I checked the fuses and plugs but it still don't work. Any ideas?

Most likely the VSS, it's on the tranny right under the intake system. Checking the wiring for the VSS. Check the plug itself, even clean it. If it still doesn't work, then your left with purchasing a new VSS or a functioning VSS.

Vehicle Speed Sensor, btw if you didn't know the abbrev.
