JDM B16 swap into a EG
I'm doing the wiring for the JDM B16 swap into a EG.
Well JDM are RHD and the engine harness is backward for us.
I was wondering if I can just extend them and plug it right up
to the chassis harness to the ECU?
Or should I just use the stock D15 harness on the B16?

2 plugs are different from USDM and JDM.... if your d15 be has Vtec Wire i'd use it. if not, get a obd1 vtec wiring harness out of the 92-95.. you can use the non vtec but you will have to wire it up to your ecu if thats no problem with you.

yes 2 plugs will be on opposite side..u can use usdm harness or do what i did is i extended each wire to the driver side with proper wires and connectors to extend them..pm me if u need any advise.
and yes..the ecu harness will plug right in..cause i am running it.i have a jdm b16a sir II swap with original jdm b16a sir II engine harness and the ecu will plug and play
just make sure u get OBD1 b16a swap.

ok man ur car is obd1 and lets say u get an obd1 jdm it doesent matter its all plug and play but lets say u dont have the vtec wiring then all u have to do is get the wiring from the silonod and plug directly to ecu and other wire as in the ground plug to the engine

use an engine wire harness from a 92-95 Civic Si and just mod that engine harness. It makes thing so much easier.
Or just mod your D15 engine harness.

dood your like 12 years old, go back to 8th grade.
I dont think he was asking if the motor was fast or not.
To the OP you can just use the D15 harness and extend/splice plugs.
