JDM 4 door cluster in a EG hatch?

JDM 4 door cluster in a EG hatch?
Would a JDM 4 door clutster work in a hatch?/
there the 4 door indicated in there is the only difference i see.

Heh... to be a little bit more specific, it's the same as the EG6 3DR cluster (if you get the 5-spd EG9 cluster) except for the 4-door picture below the tach. That usually lights up when a door is open on the EG9 sedan, but of course it will not do anything in a hatchback or coupe if you put that cluster in, and the cluster will work just like any other EG cluster.

It does nothing in USDM sedans too. I've got one in my car. It would be interesting to see someone actually make it work though

just run wires from the door trigger to the correct pinout onthe cluster and it will work fine
