There's a lot of **** you didn't tell anyone like does it turn over at all? Does it sound like it wants to start? Are you sure you have all the wiring connected. It could be anything by the way it sounds right now.

did you check all the simple stuff, like firing order, spark plugs. If that doesn't work try getting a new distibutor, sounds like its missing to me. Are you sure the timing is correct?

well the motor is from the 92-95 civic sir II... different from the 2000 civic we have here... certain differences include 168-170hp vs. 160, 116ft/lbs vs. 111... 10.4:1 compression vs. 10.2:1, OBDI vs II... not sure what else is different
not sure about ur car not starting... could be alot of things

The SIRII is the same thing as the 2000 si, just the SIR has a little higher compression, THAT'S IT!!! There the same block, same head, so yes the distibutor is the same, as will the Del Sol work. There are little differences like the idle air control valves are different, they changed the style in 1999, and the throttle body on the 99-00 has the map sensor top of the TB. I have the SIRII in my civic so trust me I know what I'm talking about and I've had to change all these things before.

This is not neccessarily true that they are the same except for the CR. The IM is also slightly different and when I had to change my timing belt and water pump, the pump I had to use was off of a ITR. Also, my friend has the exact same motor swap in his car and his starter was from a del sol, but the '99-'00 Civic Si starter DID NOT fit his motor. I suggest asking someone who does swaps for a living some of these questions as well. Good luck

Yes you are right, most of the parts I would go with would be the Del Sol parts, my drive axles are the same as ITR too. But a lot of the parts are the same as the 00 si's
