Default ITR swaybar on Civic type LCA???

I was wondering if there is a way to mount the ITR swaybar to the Civic type of Lower Control Arm. I am asking this because I have aftermarket suspension on my car that is meant for the Civic type of LCA's but I would like to also install the ITR sway bar without replacing the LCA's and of course the suspension.

Thanks for any feedback.

You should be able to install the ITR sway bar on your Civic as long as you use the Beaks Sway Bar Mounting kit. Without that kit or one like it, you won't be able to fit the bar on the stock Civic suspension. The LCA shouldn't really be the issue. And if it is, see if you can get a hold of some used Civic Si ones and you should be fine. I personally run a Comptech Rear Swaybar/Tie Bar combo, so I didn' have to use the install kit, but a friend of mine has a 2000 Civic Si and installed the ITR bar with the Beaks Kit with no problems. Hope that helps.

it would help if we knew what type of civic you had (yr, trim, etc).

92-95 civics can use 94-01 integra rear lcas for the ITR swaybar w/ beaks kit. If you have a 92-95 civic 4dr EX, you already have a rear sway and thus, the correct lcas for the itr sway.

92-95 civic and 94-01 integra shocks are interchangable, so you should be able to use your current suspension with the 94-01 integra lcas.

if you LCA don't have the hole in the LCA you can drill them. and if they do then your ok. or if you don't feel like drilling go buy some LCA off of a GSR
