Default Beaks ITR Rear Swaybar Kit???

Hi everyone, just curious about the beaks kit for the EK. I have heard its a great kit and will keep the swaybar from breaking off the car or may i say tearing off the car. But then i have heard the New Suspension Technique 19mm Rear Sway Bar, Part# 51145 is the best. Can anyone help me out, which one is better and most important safest?? thanks

Either will work. The ITR sway bar is larger and will provide more stablization than a 19mm. Get an ITR bar with Beaks kit and you will be fine. Make sure to grease the bushings before you install the bar.

i would search the archive on tearout.

if this is going on an ek i would suggest the comptech, or the asr kit << as far as the brace is concerned, comptech sells the brace by itself too. and use an oem sway bar like the 22mm itr bar. the beaks kit has had tear outs on ek's please do a search on the boards and in the suspension section...

agreed. the beaks does not spcae the ITR sway far enough rearward, and you end up with endlinks that lean to far forward. this creates a possible binding issue in the endlinks, which, from my own experiences, creates understeer in low speed, and oversteer in high speed turns.
Personally, I'm a big fan of the ASR (A-Spec Racing) brace.
