ITR Brake swap.
Hey HT, I recent bought JDM HONDA CIVIC TYPE-R 5 LUG CONVERSION, 5X114.3 CTR ITR EK9 DC2 INTEGRA from a dealer located in VA. I'm planning to put this in my 94 EG6 or rather EH2, with a B16A swap. The swap includes Front 5 lug knuckles, rear trailing arms,LCAs W/ sway bar end links, all 4 calipers, and E-brake cables and the rear disks. I was wondering what else part I would need to buy to complete the swap. My friend told me I have to change my axles because the sizes differ. but I was wondering if i need to change other parts. thanks

Re: ITR Brake swap.
You need a 1'' MC.
You don't need to use different axles, *UNLESS* the 5lug came from a JDM ITR, and not a CTR.
You wont be able to use the control arms, or any arms that it came with for that matter. Re-use all stock arms.

MC -> Master Cylinder
That swap came from a '98+ JDM ITR. Note the upper control arms, '92 - '95 Civic/'94 - '01 Integra style. Also see where someone wrote 36mm on the rotors. It require '98+ JDM ITR axles (which appear to come with the swap)

Re: ITR Brake swap.
So I would need newer axles for this swap correct? A friend advised me I can you the prelude H22 5 lug axles, and a another friend recommended I get the ITR driveshaft shop axles stage 0. I managed to find a 1'' brake booster + MC from a 96-97 itr, so would it be compatible? Also it is true that i will not be able to use the control arms, sway bars, or the rear trailing arms?

That brake booster will work
You can used the upper control arms in the front and rear as well as the front LCAs, Rear LCAs can be used, but you need ITR/SiR rear shocks

Re: ITR Brake swap.
conversion you got is off an jdm integra type r, 36mm axles is require which looks like it come with your setup just use those for time being
I just got done swapping 5lug coversion onto my 97 civic something similar but hope it helps, my conversion i bought was off a civic type r so it was 32mm axles same as usdm integra type r or all usdm civic or integra that use 32mm hub, I didn't have any problem dealing with axles, You well need a 1"inch master cylinder & brake booster from any 94-01 integra & bent new hardline to the new master cylinder, also you well need a 40/40 proportioning valve from any integra to get it done right, I didn't change mine because some people say it has same part number as the em1 or 99-00 civic SI my braking was normal, you will need new brake hose lines if they where cut, I had to buy one new rear brake hose because one side was cut, it's for the time being before I upgrade to (ss line) stainless steel, the knuckles & trailing arms should fall in place without any issue, you will need to re-use your civic lower control arms for the rear because your coversion didn't come with ITR rear shocks, Good Luck
