Intermediate Shaft???

Default Intermediate Shaft???

ok wtf is a Intermediate Shaft (talkin about driveshafts)

for example whts this

- 1990 Accord Intermediate Shaft
- Left and Right 90-93 Integra Axles

im confused!!!

the int shaft is on the drivers side of the tranny and is basically an axle that is bolted to the back of the block. Its purpose is to make for equal length drive shafts. You know how Civics have one axle thats twice as long as the other??? this make for nasty torque steer and hard to put power to the ground arund turns.

i dont get you lol sorry, so the actual drive shaft is a seperate thing to the intermediate shaft? ie
i have to buy a intermediate shaft seperatly from my drive shafts ( no chopping or modifiying of the actual drive shafts? just a replacement of the intermediate shaft)

No chopping of your drive axels. The int shaft is a completely seperate part with spline teeth just like an axel but as mentioned it bolts up to the back of the engine..
