axle shaft pops out?~?
Ok so i got my omni coilovers the other day,I install them and to make things alittle easier,I undo the top balljoint and swing the ower control arm down,Install my coilovers,Put everything back together and decide to take it for a rip,Well it doesn't move and my damn driver axle shaft pops out of place,so i put it back in and it fell out today while i got on it alittle bit.
Why is my axle shaft popping out of the spline? or hub that it goes into??

At the end of the CV joint axle, there should be a C-clip attached to the axle. This is to prevent the axle from coming out of the tranny. See if it's still there, if not get one from the dealer.

Re: (tatersald)
when you check the nut on the end of the shaft, you can see it when you take off the tire. Make sure it is tight and when you inspect it its always a good thing to us a flat punch to put a bend on the part of the axle that has a flat side on it. it shouldn't come off again.
