integra a/c compressor in civic w/ b series swap
I recently bought a complete a/c unit for my 96 civic. I know that to use the civic a/c compressor I would have to either use the p54 bracket, or the 97 CRV bracket. I also have a 95 integra a/c bracket and compressor. My question is, will the integra compressor work with all the civic a/c lines? Has anyone done this? Just wanted to know so if it does work, I won't have to buy the p54 bracket. TIA

Re: integra a/c compressor in civic w/ b series swap (powerBan.est1990)
hmm, i started answering you question, but i confused myself.
here's what happened to me:
i have a complete b18c5 going into a 99 civic. i bought that p54 bracket. thought i'd need it. the integra's a/c compressor didn't seem to fit onto that bracket(perhaps a civic compressor would fit perhaps?), so i checked with the itr ac bracket, and everything lined up to the engine mount. so i ended up re-using the itr ac bracket and now have an unused brand new p54 bracket.
I'm not sure about the integra compressor working with the civic ac lines, however if you can rebend those lines to line up/match, i would only imagine it would work. integra a/c lines run all the hell over the place since the integra radiator/ac assembly is sequential. Since the civic has the radiator/ac condensor in parallel, i would imagine its easier.
