Default Intake Air Temp Sensor Question. CEL

So background, i am finishing up an LS swap in a 93 cx... i was getting a code for ect, iat and injectors. the car was very hard to cold start, and it felt like the car was either bogging or missing.

i was also using a d15b7 ecu... the wires were jacked up some where in my harness and i was not getting proper voltage to the ect or the iat. so we ran new wires from the ecu. we cleaned up all the messed up wires in the harness. now the ect code is gone. the car cold starts amazing but i still have a code for iat. the car is running real rough almost like its missing but it feels just like its bogging down. could the iat sensor be causing the car to run terrible?

things i have done

-fix wiring

- new ect

- new iat *we are trying a dif one tomorrow because we are afraid maybe it got messed up before we fixed the wiring during testing* originally the iat had 12v instead of 5v

- new obd1 mt pr4 (ls ecu)

- new injectors and seals

i <3 electrical problems :-)

When I disconnected the IAT sensor on my 99 civic, the car started idling at lower RPM and kind of rough. I suppose it could cause the problems you're having.

it's cold reving like 1400 then dropping down to 1200 then 1000 or a lil below. my tach might be slightly off. the "misfire" is in the lower end. if i raise the rpms the motor does sound slightly better.

also can i put a b16 crank on a b18 the one that on here is super nasty and its hard to quadruple check timing...

The revving is probably from the IACV/FITV. Check them out.

the car is not reving up and down... i was saying that cold start it is idling at like 1300-1400 then dropping down as it warms up... what ever...

this is my assumption, the iat isn't reading the right signal so it is thinking that the Intake is way hot when its cold and its adjusting the fuel/air map accordingly and its causing it to bog... idk though i am feeling stumped right now.
