installed new headers 2000 civic ex
i installed these new headers on my 2000 civic ex.
their megan racing headers.
this was my first real job on my car besides the intake which any1 can do.
i used some wd40 which helped get the bolts loose.
the hard part was trying to take the o2 sensor loose from the bottom and those spring bolts where kinda tricky putting back on i had my step dad help me with that.
Other then that it was pretty easy.Took me 4hours to do.
"Has a little sound too it sounds pretty kool when i vtec it"
other then that i like it

Really nice. I've been looking to get the same header for my car. I also have an 00' VSM Civic Ex. Your engine bay looks pretty much exacltly like mine (w/out header ofcourse). Same unpainted valvecover even lol.
So did you just jack up the car and do the install?

Looks good man. I would paint that valve cover a nice dark black and call it a day. Then the bay would look sick!

two things wrong with this:
1. It's just a header. One, uno, eins, un, ένας, 1つ, 1개, um, одно. There is no "s". Inline engines only have 1 header.
2. "is it a ... headers." If headers was the correct word, your grammar is wrong because "is" and "a" go along with singular words. The word Headers is plural, there for the correct phrase would be "are they 4-2-1 mandrel bent SS headers?" But still, what you should have said is "is it a 4-2-1 mandrel bent SS header?"
And finally, to answer your question: yes, that is a 4-2-1 mandrel bent stainless steel header.
why would you get a new one when you don't need one?

Re: installed new headers 2000 civic ex
i dont really like going under a car thats just jacked up, u never know what can happen. =x
and yes i installed it myself with a little help from my stepdad.
if u dont know how to put on the header and u want to get an exhaust later on wait and then take it to a shop it will be cheaper but if ur like me, i put the headers on myself and then when i get my exhaust which is soon i'll take it to a shop to put it on.
