Default Installed ITR suspension and no i have no brakes?

after installing the entire suspension (00 civic hb) i bled the brakes about 6 times, starting furthest from the booster to the closest. then i tried to bleed the master cylinder alone and nothing from that. the brakes hold pressure til i start the car and then the pedal falls to the floor. i replaced my stock proportioning valve with one from an si and i cant think of any other reasons. did i miss something?

Theres got to be a leak somewhere. or some kind of bubble leak. re-tighten everything. if nothing works it could be your master cylinder. when you pulled it from the brake booster was there fluid in the booster?

Never took the master cylinder off the booster. When I bleed the calipers I get a solid, steady flow with no air, I have leaks anywere. All the fittings are dry...

ITR suspension so definately disc.

But remove the M/C and see if there is any leakage in there. Or try using an SI M/C. I believe they are different then the normal civic ones. just can't quite remember how......let me probe my head for a bit

You've got to change out your m/c too. ITR brakes are much bigger than the little ones that come with your hatch.

Its not necessary though ive read. the brakes will be musy but they won't sink to the floor.

when you undid the brakes did you dry out the MC? if so you need to bench bleed it and put it back in the car. If you had the calipers right off the car (witch I dont know if you did or not) but make sure the bleeder screws are pointing up.

you dont need to change the MC, if anything when swapping to rear disc you can change the prop valve. I think the 93 lx is the one with a 50/50 prop valve that will bolt directly into your MC and will give you equal brake distribution front to back.

well the only other thing i can think of is your brake lines are soft and expanding under pressure. How was the pedal before you undid them?

If you have access to a pressure bleeder, I recommend bleeding the brakes with that.

you have a bad brake booster. if you have a solid pedal when the car if off and while holding the pedal start the car and the pedal drops to the floor, then u have a bad booster. sorry to bring the bad news

How, I drove the car to school an 1/2hr away then home and ripped my old suspenion off, put the new on and bled within 4-5 hrs. I'm thinkin the m/c is too small...

possibly? im not sure. it just sounds like a bad brake booster to me. could be it just happened to go bad, just like when u walk into a room and flip the light switch and the bulb goes, nothing u did caused it, it just went bad. could be when the pedal went to the floor that u rolled a seal. sorry i cant help u out. once u find out what it is let me know cuz im curious to what is wrong.

first of all the correct bleeding procedure for you civic is RR RF LR LF. the lines are crossed because its a front wheel drive car. second stick with manual bleeding its 100 times faster and more efficient than pressure bleeding...(complete pointless.)
