i was goin to put the regulator in and it just seems backwards to me. the friggen crank needs to be on the other side. i need help

anyone? its freezing outside haha. im sure this is really easy but i cant figure it out. it almost seems like the regulator was meant for the passenger side but i know it did come out of the driver side

turn the regulator the other way, you have the gear on the left in the pic, turn it 180° clockwise and it will be the other way, squeaze the regulator into a straight line, turn it kinda weird to fit through that hole and it will go in.

manouver it into place and bolt down the crank part first, the other parts can move freely into place once that is bolted down

im actually planning on doing a writeup on this very soon.

something else that helps, manually roll the part where the handle goes into the center of that toothed gear, it helps getting it in.
