Im adding an alarm & have been told since I had an after market stereo my dome light wont work anymore... riggghhtt! so how do I make it work again? Ive taken my car apart so finding wires should be easy! can anyone point me in the right direction? I searched and couldnt find anything in all 25 pages

It would help if you can tell us what year your car is.

I've heard that it's a major pain on the 96-98 to keep dome/keyless/etc. I don't know cause I have a 2000.

its not a major pain its just spliceing like 1 or two wires.

you will have to pull the climmate control and bezel out but its farley esay.

thanks bruh but now Ive got a new prob I got my stereo jacked & all I have is one green plug... I see the l. green and red wire but not the l. green and black wire... anyone know a way around this?

wait now im confused lol
there should be 3 plugs 1 white one which is you stereo harness and then a greaan one which you made the connections to fix you dome light and then one more green one thats sitting in the back?
double check the wires are there you may have just missed it.
its green with a black stripe to green with a black stripe
and then the same thing for the green with red stripe.
