Idling higher?? why?

Default Idling higher?? why?

I just replaced my spark plugs and wires on my 2000 si,, The car has 100k miles and the plugs had never been replaced... The car use to idle around 900-1k now it idles at 1400-1500.. why?

after i drove it around for a bit.. its now idling proper

uhm when your car is cold it'll idle higher around 1.5 to 2k until like 20 mins after its warmed up.

Mine idles at 3k for about 30 sec after I start it...but the wind chill is like -20 here
