idles at 2000+ when cold
ive had this problem for some while now and its getting annoying. when i start my car in the morning or the 1st time during the day it idle at 2000 maybe a nudge more. when i tap the throttle, the rpm moves up a little, sticks there for a slight second then drops back down. its only during warm up, ones its at normal temp it runs like a champ

When it idle high at first start its fine dude. As long as its okay after your engine is warm and your ECU is run'n on "RAM" memory.

thats o2 sensor and it has nothing todo when warming up. the computer ignores the o2 in warm-up cause its in open loop. when the engine is warm then it goes into closed loop and starts using the o2 for fuel delivery. and idling at 2k is normal

Since when does post count dictate how much you know? It's not a problem, when any car is cold it will idle high.

Most cars I've been in will hold the rpms for like a second when you blip the gas, then drop down low then go to 2000+ rpms if its cold.
