Idle wierdness on the B16
Searched; found little advice since it's a broad issue.
I think it can possibly be the MAP sensor but lemme tell you guys the symptoms.
Idle at a stoplight would be around 2,200rpms; sometimes it would jump from 1,300-2,200 in a rhythm fashion but often times it just stays at 2,200.
When I coast in neutral at like 50mph or wherever (rather than downshifting) I would be steadily at 2,400rpms untill I fully stop then the rpms would either jump up and down slowly or stay at 2,200rpms like stated above.
I cleaned the IACV.
You guys also think it's the MAP sensor that is causing this? I'll probably pick one up tomorrow; how much does it cost?
Thanks.

No sir; OBD1 so I donno about CELs...
Anyways; I just thought of this; is there anyways that I accidently mixed the coolant lines for the IACV, would that make a difference???
Thanks.

Throttle cable to tight?
Air in the coolant system? Did you rebleed it?
Mess with either of the throttle body screws? One of these controls a small amount of air bypassed around the throttle blade (used to set base idle speed) and the other screw mechanically lifts the throttle blade of its seat preventing it from rounding out the bore....but messing with this screw affects TPS output which needs to be .45v @ idle.
Does your throttle body have a FITV....that could have taken a dive as most normally do with age?

Yes sir I did rebleed it in fact right before this all happened....
I did think this was the issue yet I did run the car with the radiator cap off to let all the air out.
A honda tech told me that you should raise your car on the driver's side and run the car with the cap off to let air out; I will do this.
I do NOT have FITV.
Thanks.
