Idle problems with my LS swap in my EG..... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
I have a 93 VX Hatch.
I just installed a complete LS swap out of my 2000 donor Integra.
I used the obd2 harness out of the DC..... Plugged right into the car harness.
No check engine lights, but I have a strange idle problem.
Start it up cold and it idles at 2000 rpm..... Then starts doing the rev up and down crap the whole time its warming up.
When the thermostat opens up the car drops down to 800 rpm and idles normal.
It runs and drives perfect at that time.
But if you have the clutch pedal pushed in sitting in neutral at a stop light its fine.
If you let the clutch pedal out while still sitting in neutral, the engine jumps up to 1500 rpm and will either stay at that, start the whole rev up and down again, or fall back down to normal.
Its killing me cuz I have never seen a Honda do the **** that its doing.
Everything worked right on the swap right after install except I had to run a tach wire.
And the idle issue is my only problem.
Please somebody tell me they know what the problem is.
I already had a LS swap in the car before this one but I spun a rod bearing and didnt wanna deal with it.
The 2000 LS ran flawlessly in the Integra as a daily driver for a year. I know there is no problems with it. I did have to buy a p75 LS obd1 ecu for this but its from a friend that used it in his car and worked fine...........
Help me out here before I set the car on fire and let it burn................. THANX
