need serious help... problem is driving me crazy...
well.... i`ll start by telling you that i have an all motor ls/vtec in my hatch.
the problem is that it doesn`t seem to do good low idle.. (1000 rpms)
1- when i start the car cold, with the idle adjuster screw closed at all... it does the 1000-1200.. (regular) but when it warms up the idle goes down and the engine shuts off.
2- when i adjust the screw for idle correction i have to adjust it almost to 2000 rpms cold so when th engine warms up, it doesn`t shut off, but when i rev it and take my foot off the gas pedal the idle goes down almost to 500rpms for a while and then goes up to 1200 and stills until i rev it again... and so. but the problem is 2000 rpms, to a cold engine is not good...
so this problem is driving me nuts.
btw. i`m running no thermostat, and direct radiator fan if this has something to do... i don`t know what to think about this... and yeah i eliminated all the water hoses that go to the intake manifold, heater etc....
so any help please. i will apreciate it.

damn.
That problem sounds like it's annoying as hell.
First thing I can think of is take off the IACV and clean it. Also make sure it's working properly. Also verify you have no vacuum leaks and all vacuum lines are properly seated.
One more thing as well, make sure your MAP sensor is getting enough vacuum. Sometimes the MAP sensor vacuum line or inside the throttle body will starve the MAP sensor, and your ECU will not throw the code, but will cause the engine to idle like **** and shut it off.
Check those, and keep this thread up. A lot of times people don't look at page 2 and it may have been knocked down.

sounds like a simliar problem that i had. Was the iacv. I would start my car and it would die so i would have to start it back and gas it until i was actually moving. Check the iacv
