Idle Problem with stock swap !! HELP !
Car - 1998 Civic ex (AUTO)
Problem - Loping/eratic/osilating(spelling) idle
Fix - Bad head gasket/Bad (new) radiator/Bad fast idle valve
Notes: Check radiators new/old for flow/Check all vacum hoses....
Hey guys i have read this http://www.ef-honda.com/ben/Badidle.php but i have a question that hasnt been answered. Whether the fast idle valve is plugged in or not its still lopes, oscilates (spelling) from 1k to 2k, but If i plug the bottom hole about 75% it stops. The car is a 98 civic ex with a newly swapped d16y8, and as for bleeding the coolant, their is no bleeder, so now what? My friends out getting a new fast idle valve right now, but i am not sure if thats it? Any info would help, thanks
