ICM replacement
Hey guys, i've just swapped a GSR into my car, go to fire and have no spark. Checked the coil and it's got power, checked for impulse at the coil tower and nothing. So I've found some IgnitionControlModule replacement parts, one is $54 and has a list of OEM part numbers that it replaces, on the same site there's one for $129 that says its for a GS-R, the part number that follows that one is on the list of the cheaper one.
Would it be safe to assume that the cheaper one will work? or should i buy the one that says GS-R in the description? I don't want to put too much money into this dizzy because the PO hacked the wires before the plug. I re-did them correctly but I'll still look for a new one later on.
Thanks ahead of time!

Re: ICM replacement
Honestly I would just buy a new (or good used) dizzy. I had a GSR where I rebuilt the dizzy, still acted up and it was all hacked and converted and ****. Bought a dizzy off of an 00' GSR and it ran 100% better.
Igniters are compatiable with 92-95 Civics and 90-93 Accords as well as some more vehicles. I get ALL of my OEM igniters/coils off of the 90-93 Accords because those cars at the junkyards still have the distributor where the Civics/Integras don't.

Re: ICM replacement
'92 - '00 Civic (except HX), '93 - '97 Del Sol, '92 - '01 Integra, '97 - '01 CR-V, and '90 - '93 Accords all use interchangeable igniters. They aren't all the same, but they're interchangeable. If using a hitachi igniter in place of an OKI or NEC you'll need to file down a couple of nubs on the igniter bracket to make it sit flat.
