I think i blew my clutch actually i am almost 100 % sure i did
so yesterday i was driving home from the gas station and the clutch went on me. when i pushed down on it, it was giving so much resistance and getting it into gear was next impossible. (usually clutches start sliping before they go but that never happened it went unexpectedly)
I somehow was able to get it into second gear and make it home. I turn the car off and i am able to go through all the gears so i know its the clutch. it was getting dark so i said f-it ill see what i can do tommorrow.
well today i get in the car put her in nuetral start the car up and starts up fine but i can't get it into anygear so i turn th car off put it in first and try to start up the car. well as its turning over it jerks foward like crazy and cant get it started. same thing when i put it in reverse...... is this normal for a blown clutch to do or is there something extra going on. i dont know since its my only and first experice in a situation like this. give me the heads up and help me out
thanks eric

this happened to me two days ago. what happened was that a spring in the clutch broke and turned sideways on me.

i wonder if this it was happend to me (the spring breaking) but the firt time the clutch was torn to peices. i seen it after they installed a new one. and it was all ripped/torn up. but i was still able to put it into gear easy. just that wen i step on the gas it gets to power. i wonder sorry to highjack.

if it still went into gear then probably not. you probably just burnt up the clutch meaning you used all of its friction material.

you could clearly see in the photo that there is plenty of friction material left on the disc. what are you talking about?

that was my clutch, i know what happened to it. i was talking about what might have happed to Squallie's clutch. and actually my clutch was down to the rivots and started to gouge my flywheel that i had resurfaced so it may look like it in my pic, but there really wasnt much on there.
