do anybody know what might be wrong with my tranny.... it won't go in gear when the car is on... but if i put it in gear then turn the car on it works fine......

happened to my old car....might be a clutch problem...does the clutch pedal feel kinda dead..does the car start when you push the clutch pedal in?

hmm i think your clutch might have went out...when you start your car do you leave it in first and let go of the clutch just to get the car to move..cuz that would be a bad clutch

Think we need some more information here. So if you start it in gear it will work fine? Even while driving?

Might try bleeding the clutch cylinder. Or adjusting the cable. Or could be the syncros, if other gears work. Mine gets pissy sometimes about going into first.

bleed the clutch. if it still messed up, its your clutch

when i start my car in gear you can drive it only in that gear.... once you try to stwitch gears... it thorws it in neutal and it wont go back into gear.... i tried bleeding it already... still the same result.....
