At the moment, I have a 95 civic eg with b18b1 integra engine. I have my stock exhaust on the car right now. What I want is to have a higher flowing exhaust while mainting the silent attributes of my civic along with the stock muffler. If I were to bend 2.5 piping downpipe__muffler, would this meet my satisfaction. Would it be quiet and add any perfomance?

dont need to get 2.5 piping unless you going turbo. 2.25 would be fine. if you want it not as loud with a nice deep tone go with a resonator as well. i'm currently running 2.25 w/cat resonator and magna flow muffler, nice low deep tone. not all raspy.

Get the exhaust from an RSX-S and make it work. It'll give you a boost in performance and it'll be nice and quiet. Integra Type-R exhaust also works well for this, and it's a more bolt-on-ish affair.

I am going to turbo this engine. I am going to cut out the cat, and do 2.5... but i may just do 2.25. I can double up resistors, right? I want good exhaust flow while mainting all of the stock attributes of the car, meaning look and sound. I dont know the best way to achieve this.

all cars will get louder if you increase the flow of the exhaust. if you are palnnin on turbo do the 2.5 straight back with a ITR muffler it will be louder but not like haven a big *** coffee can back there. oh yea it might be raspy in the high RPM's butit will get quite again once you get turbo. just my .02 cents

2.5" is the way to go. if you want loud, get the straight pipe or higher flow cats to go with it...or straight through design.

if you bring a muffler to the shop and you want to have 2.5 piping, what do ou exacly ask them. like how far does the 2.5 piping go..sorry i dont know anything about exhaust.
