I need Help with the Horn
I bought my car less than 2 months ago, when i bought it the horn used to work, then after a week it started having problems, it used to work one day, then the next day didnt work, then it just stoped working at all, also when the horn stoped working the SRS light went on...i already checked this forum and i know there are some people with the same problem but none of those threads helped me fix the problem, the horn works because i took it out and checked it in the battery and it worked, already checked the fuses and they are alright none of them are blown, anyone know anything about this? thank you

The horn wire and the SRS wire are both in the yellow harness that goes to your steering column. The harness or loom may have become disconnected, corroded, or damaged.

First go down to the clinic and sell some blood. Then go down to the parts store and buy the Haynes manual. That's something you should have done before registering a screen name on HT. Read that ****. No one reads it. In there it's got all the little pictures and **** you're looking for. Basically, there's a little plastic cover behind the wheel. Inside is a jumper connector that will prevent the airbag from deploying.
Are you sure you checked the SRS fuse with the yellow cap on it?

Re: I need Help with the Horn (ferchoz)
my guess is that its your clock spring. if the air bag light and horn do not work.
clock spring is basically a round piece of metal (almost like a big c-clip) that allows an electrical contact between the column and steering wheel while still allowing you to turn the wheel.
not sure exactly if yours works like my rex, but definately check that out. pull of the cover that is over the column, and look between the steering wheel and the end of the column. you should see it there. there is also a metal contact on the column. check that out and then let us know.

Most people seem to refer to the cable reel as the clock spring.

It will be the flat set of wires coming off of this, it runs under the column to this plug, as a matter of fact, the horn is wire circled....
