Success with horn button... almost. Need HELP.
Alright people,
I've installed an NRG quick release and a MOMO wheel and hub and am having an issue with my horn. Please read before you tell me this has been covered, I haven't found a similar issue posted here.
My horn was successfully installed.. for about 10 minutes. It operated perfectly everytime I pukshed down on the button. Now, everytime I push down on the wheel's horn button I get a steady blast even when I stop pushing, which won't quit unless I disconnect the horn's yellow wire harness underneith the dash. At first I thought the horn button's spring wasn't working causing constant contact, so I took the button assembly apart and stretched the spring a few times. This didn't change the problem at all. Has anyone ever had this problem?
Just FYI: I ran the wire from the horn harness to a piece of brass connected which has a preload against the back of the momo hub. It acts like the horn shoe that a lot of you people have used.

Maybe the horn circuit is grounding out somewhere? Where did you get the quick release from? I want one

I forgot where I picked up the qr, but you can find them anywhere. Try camp1320.com, they're coo.
Where do you think it could be grounding out? The only place I've checked was at the hub.

I have disassembled the button a few times because I wanted to stretch the spring. Maybe I should just buy another button and test it out.

I couldn't get mine to work with my quick release, so I just wired a momentary pushbutton switch on the bottom of the column and use that for the horn... I got tired of dicking around with it.

My only idea is that the wire might be grounding somewhere else besides the horn button.
