Default I feel like a noob....need some intelligent input

Here's the thread....please respond here...

No "did you change the spark plugs" and novice advice like that. I've been doing this for a long time...and am sick of working on this thing (have like 45 minutes of troubleshooting- I'm impatient)

Help a brotha out....never had anything like this.

Sounds like my room mates ITR when we blew his engine ...but everything mechanical is fine.....just runs CRAZY rich

I honestly don't have any idea either man. Clearly there's a fuel problem somewhere...but most fuel problems I know of cause a lack of fuel not excess...pump, filter, rail...ecu...I have no idea

Oh well Free bump

I know.

fuel pressure is 32 psi at idle

stock fpr

BUT.....pull off #1 plug wire....car doesn't bog down. I THOUGHT the injector could be leaking or faulty...but I already tired a whole new set. I may try just replacing that one

oh well, it's Saturday night, I won't worry about it till tomorrow

Yeah have a

Injector sounds like the issue...cuz if the injector isnt broken and dumping lots of fuel into the motor the problem lies with the fuel maps in the ECU...which is highly unlikely

well....figured out the problem.

I thought the fuel smelled like diesel....and it was!!!

Ran some fresh 92 octane through there and took a drive on the freeway. Smoke cleared up, power came back, not bogging....good as new.

TEXACO gas stations!!!

He put in 92 2 days ago.......but it was diesel!!!

The truck that fills the station must have messed up. I've never been so relieved and so pissed at the same time. I've been stressing over this
