compresision test today

Default compresision test today

car does not smoke burn oil but i lost power any ideas what it could be can i slap another head dont know what to do thanks guys

not too bad.

do a leak down and see where cylinder 1's pressure is going.

Its either rings or valve seals......so pick your poison. Pay for a leakdown test since you are a Noob.

drop a cap full of oil into cylinder one and see if compression increases.

If not, make sure valves are within spec.

I gained 15 psi in one cylinder by adjusting valve lash

ok i will try that but i got a 99 head i can put on i dont know if it worth it at all i dont want to waste my time adn then its the bottom end

well then try doing the cap of oil.

20 psi isn't THAT big of a difference...if it was like 200 200 200 120 like my friends GSR....then you have problems
