I am putting lowering springs (1.7") on my Honda Civic HB 1997.
How do I adjust the off camber on the front and back. Besides getting a wheel alignment. I just bought new 17s and dont want to tear them up any faster than I have to.

You will not even need a camber kit for that much of a drop.
You MUST get a 4-wheel toe alignment though if you want to weat tires evenly, and please ignore the alignment guy if he tries to say you have to get a camber kit.
Plus you cannot adjust front camber on your car without buying front camber kits, which range in price from $85.00-$300.00 or so depending on the type and quality.
Rear camber can be corrected with washers in the upper control arms where they meet the unibody, but again I doubt you'll even need that.
Your car is alowed a full -2 degrees of negative camber in the rear from Honda specs. you can usually even go more than that without any uneven tire wear as long as your TOE is correct.
BTW:
I do alignments on lowered hondas and Acuras on a daily basis, so I'm speaking from experience.

No trust me I do not know all, but this subject in particular is good for me since I've done at least over 100 lowered honda/Acura alignments now.
