how to wire horn to momo steering wheel
okay so i have a momo steering wheel (monte carlo) and a tekniqauto snap-off hub. the thing is, im in los angeles where theres A LOT of stupid *** drivers and all i can do is give them the universal sign. i really want to have my horn just incase i need to avoid an accident. so is there anyone out there that has my setup (or something similar) and actually got their horn to work and how it was done? tia
pic of my hub:
btw: the car is a 95 ex

i have the same setup and know how to wire it but have been too lazy to do it...
those silver dots in the middle of the snap off system connect to the horn when it is depressed... you need to find the yellow plug ( i think ) under the steering column which activates the horn when it is grounded... you wire it to the hub snap off system...(one of the silver dots) and then wire the other dot to a ground point... when the horn is pressed it completes the ground and makes you honk

Re: (igo4bmx)
i just tired hand wired it to a toggle. While i was at it thow, i added anther toggle with a relay to my break lights. I put the toggle facing up into the dash. Kinda works alonge with the fuel cutoff switch hidden elsewhere. If the car thiefs don't hit that before they start driving the horn stays on every time they break.

I have a Techniq Auto set up and used these links. You'll need Honda part # 35259-SH3-A02 (shoe horn) which is a $3-4.00 part.

I have that part but i didnt hook it up because it brought my steering wheel 1in+ closer to my chest and its just felt incomfortable driving like that. Plus i dont use my horn much...if they **** me off or do something dumb i just rev on them...they usual stop or realize that their a dumbass

can you confirm the "yellow plug". i didn't see one when i was installing the hub and wheel.

Re: (EJcoupe)
Yes, the yellow plug from the SRS harness...
"6. The other end of the wire, will go where you previously separated the SRS wire harness from the underside of the steering column. Sitting from the driver seat, it should be on the left side of the connection."
Read the link in my last post, it even has pictures.
