Re: Aftermarket Steering wheel in EG? (Hard2Find)
so so many ppl didn't have a horn when they install their MOMO steering
but i did
u have two wires right?? one is to the ground, just attached it to the metal of the steering wheel
the other wire, there is two sides of the hub, right?? solder one to the top
it' really hard to teach u in words, but for the second wire, u want it to be able to transfer electrical THROUGH the hub, so find somewhere in the hub that u can tap on which it will go throught the bottom of the hub
man i make is so confusing !! haha
once u got the second wire, u need a piece of metal, connect it to ur HORN wire from the car, then ( u need to be creative) screw it to ur car which it will be in touch of the bottom of the HUB
so now when u put on the steering wheel, the ground wire will be in touch with that stud, and ur bottom of the hub (which is ur second wire) is in touch of that metal
now even u turn or whatever, ur bottom of the hub will still be touching that piece of metal, and NO wires will be twisted, but electric still goes through
put some grease in between that metal and the hub
I HOPE that helped u, if u really need, i can snap some "bad quality" photos using my webcam
good luck, it's not that hard
but i did

Re: Aftermarket Steering wheel in EG? (Hard2Find)
here is an suggestion
take off your bumper, look at ur HORN, it will tell u which wire it is at the back
then u might try to search for that color under the dash
but it might be different. haha.. maybe u can just make a wire through the firewall to the HORN
just go to library to check which color it is for ur horn
give me a day, i will find out the color and the location for u
i have a 93 though

Re: Aftermarket Steering wheel in EG?
To all the guys trying to wire up the horn to the wheel, why not just avoid all this hassle and wire it up to a bush button on the dash or something?
