i did all the sear with no luck
i am goign to buy a b16a2 tranny tommorrow and i need to know how to tell besides vin numbers, he also has a LS trannys and i think he might have switched the vin numbers. can anyone help me with visual to check if its a real b16a2 tranny.

honestly man if the guy is that shady.. why even bother purchasing it off of him?
and honestly you should see S80 or Y80 or S4C on a strip located on the Tranny as well as the VIN number at times..

i thought 99+ si's were SC4 or Y21's. there should be a sticker with a bar code on it, and it should have have the tranny code on it. if its off a 99si, it should have a VIN on it. only jdm tranny's dont have vins

I just meant as an example you'll see Y80/S80/S4C or some type of this on a Bar code sticker on the tranny

I think I remember seeing a sticker or imprint of y21 on my b16. Its too late to go look at it now though so this is a free bump.
