my uncle does insurence, my aunts a loan officer, and my dad runs a dealership. Anything that you do to a car to alter it from stock lowers the price on the car. Sounds stupid, which yeah it is, but its true.

oem parts are always more than aftermarket stuff...or atleast most of the time.

that's only if you do a trade in. when you're selling it private party, most of the time aftermarket parts add to the value, as long as they are done tastefully. by that i mean if you have a huge NHRA drag race wing, some NFSU style body kit and flurescent interior, THAT might lower the price. but tasteful body kit...nice seats...some bolt ons...that will raise the price (but again, only to private party..dealership hates that...they dont even mention it when you buy cars. i bought my Si and they didnt evne mention the fact that the previous owner added a muffler, CD deck, short ram intake, and new floormats...they did mention the new clutch though)

Re: How much is this del sol worth?? (jdmvic)
Out of curiosity what would you guys think mine is worth?
Theres pics in my sig, Im not selling it but just curious its a 95 with 105k interior is all stock except for the custom sub enclosure behind the seats where the storage thing ussed to be. (I still have it btw stored safely in the garage for sale with the car.) Also the paint is a stock color just not available in the yr the car was made, ABSOLUTLY no rust visable or not, I dare you to find any on parts other then the suspension or a few bolts. I spent weeks going over that body getting it all cleaned up and repaired the right way

Then it all depends on you. IF there are no major modifications like engine swap, then i wouldn't pay too much over KBB. I don't think you'd find to many people that would.

Re: How much is this del sol worth?? (jdmvic)
list as $4,000 would be my guess. kbb and nada prices are more like retail prices. i find that cars should be usually 15%-20% below kbb price.
