How to Install a Benen Front Strut Bar?

Default How to Install a Benen Front Strut Bar?

i just recently purchased the new Benen Tripod Strut Bar







but my vehicle EG didnt come with the bolts that will hold the Bar, it just had the plastic cover,(when i removed the plastic cover it was just a hole) just wondering what size and kind of bolt do i use? lmk thanks!

Find a bolt that will fit through the holes, about 1/2" long. Then find nuts for the bolts.

How do you reach those bolts then? Thru windsheild wiper cover?

Make sure that the bolts you buy are GRADE 8 (automotive grade hardness) grade 5 or less bolts are too weak and wil stretch or break on you.

Yup, I forgot to mention getting flat washers.

Actaully i was referring before to the firewall bolts

Yes I know you were, but I was just stessing the importance of using Grade 8 hardware.
