ill sell you my jdm throttle body. haha, but im serious, the tps is bolted on, not riveted.

if you want to, ill give you the tps, and the 2 bolts, and you can just hack the old one off, and tap 2 holes to bolt mine into. you can have it if you pay for the shipping.

Use a hack saw or a Dremel tool and cut slots in the top of the "rivets" that hold the TPS on, and unscrew them. When reinstalling the TPS, use normal screws w/ washers.

*edit- you don't have to drill or tap the holes, just find screws that'll fit the thread.

you sure they are rivits? i could swear they were a star bolt.. and you need to know how to adjust it when you put it back on

I used the dremel approach. Unfortunately one bolt was too soft and still sripped when I tried to unscrew it, so I just used the dremel to cut the head off and the TPS came right off. I would suggest reusing the original washers. They leave indentations on the TPS and will help you re-align everything correctly when you put it on the new TB.

the TPS does not use rivets.....they are simply SCREWS with the heads cut off.....just cut a slit at the top of the head, and unscrew it with a flathead screwdriver...voila
