Default Howto: Timing???

We recently swapped the headgasket on my Civic (ex) SOHC 1.6 VTEC and well, I must've f'ed the timing up somehow because the car wont start. It's getting fuel, AND spark. So the only thing I can think of is timing...

Is there a write-up on this somewhere? Could someone walk me through it? Thanks
JC

Already tried, motor has compression, timing apears to be right.. it just WONT start... this is very annoying. Has spark and fuel. ONly thing left is timing...

Ok. Is it stuttering, wanting to start, backfiring? An of these wopuld point to bad timing. Get out a timing light, make sure you arent 180 degrees off too.

When I did my 1991 CRX 1.6 I had the same problem. Turns out I didnt have my spark plug wires on the correct plugs. This is a very easy mistake to make. Double check that
