how do i get the dizzy off?

Default how do i get the dizzy off?

ok i have a 99 dx and im trying to install a tach i can get the dizzy cap off but i cant get the rotor or drip guard off any help is very much appriciated

have you cranked the engine over til the set screw is showing in able to remove the rotor?

no... do i just take the spark plugs out and do that?

You can bump the starter to rotate the engine/distributor without turning it on. Just be gentle with the key.

soo once i get the rotor off the coil is in there where i plug my tach wire to the negative slot of the coil... i cant get the rotor off.? any ideas

why dont you just wire it to the rpm source behind the gauge cluster...its the blue wire
