Re: How to build my 94 civic**HELP NOOB!**
I recently bought a 94 civic ex automatic and i want to know what i should do and why. I have several qustions, but befor i begin DONT want to swap for a manual. I would use it as a daily driver, i can use stick but it is a hassle especially in traffic and with the phone/food etc.
im looking to beef up the engine considerably without going tooo crazy. im on a low budget... remember im a noob...
1.) supercharger over turbo? i think sc is better on engine and gas..
2.) Quiet "lo-pro" exhaust?
3.) suspenson? coilovers
4.) is a short ram really worth it?
and anything else you guys want to add.. please help me im so lost

What would happen if I was to put in a non EX transmission swap. My engine is an EX but my buddy has the All the parts I need from a non ex model to make it a 5speed. Would this work?

Everything will work the only thing that changes between models is the transmission gearing for gas mileage. The overall transmission is the same.

I think you're going the right way swapping to a manual. My car is an automatic and when I first got it, I wanted to turbo it so bad I couldn't stand it. Unfortunately, Honda auto transmissions cant deal with the added power 98% of the time so I just stuck with my bolt-ons.
Anyway, back to the point, since you're new here and I'm not a smart *** like most of the people who have been hassling you, I'm going to help you out. Any manual transmission from a 92-96 will swap into your car. I would recommend letting someone help you do the swap. Secondly, don't buy anything from ebay. It's all poorly made ****.
Get your transmission swap done, get yourself a nice set of adjustable lowering springs and dont run more than around 7-8 lbs. of boost without building your engine for a turbo first. Good luck with your car.
