ive got my motor being built in the machine shop and the guy building is telling me hes going to have to adjust my valves but to do that hes going to had to take my head off several times to make it work . is this the only way to adjust your valves? is there an easyier way ?

i just got done doing it my self. if i was you i would buy the tool or make your own like i did, it makes the job a lot easier.

Why would the mechanic have to take off the head n put back on several times? Does he mean valve cover? The procedure for valve adjustment is pretty simple, it's a back breaker if you do it right especially if your car is lowered. Took me three differnt tries to get it right tho
