hookup? or break up?
alright peeps...im getting ready to boost my dc and my eg...my questions are about boosting to the limit...the limit being making so much extra power its no fun/unecessary/a waste...meaning i lose traction in the top end and there is no hard acceleration...i dont want a 300 hp car beating me when he or she can gain traction while i have 600 hp and constantly spin...its no fun and its just wasteful...
so my questions are:
What is a good street boost to tune for/stay at? how much hp should i limit myself at?
what can i do with my street vehicles to ensure i have the best traction possible?
if you have personal experience with this id love to hear it but all kinds of help/advice is welcome...thanks guys
p.s. im boosting both...the end

Re: hookup? or break up? (VTEC_PRODUCTION)
If you plan on making 600whp and driving around with street tires on your kidding yourself. Minimum youll need Drag Radials. When you drive on the street you have to lower the power, 600whp is used with slicks.

Re: hookup? or break up? (sauceja)
a rear wheel drive car can get traction better than a FWD car going forward. To get the best traction get super gooey tires. a good suspension setup will probably help also, but i dont no enough about that to give any advise
