Hood Won't Open

Hood Won't Open
when i pull on the latch to open my hood nothing happens...it doesn't click when i pull it on the latch or on the hood...hood stays still...what to do?

pull the cable behind the latch further....if all else fails reach from under the front bumper and tug the cable to open the hood.
A buddy of mine had a set of vice grips attached to the cable behind the latch to open his hood.

not sure with all the proper terms here so bear with me. look behind the hood release latch...the cable has probably come off the guide. the cable has a cover on it that sits in the guide so when u pull on the latch just the cable moves not the cover. if the cover has come out of the guide u r not pullin on anything thus the hood will not pop. mine does this cause it broke and i have to hold the cable cover to pop the hood. just look behind the latch and see if the cable is dangling.

well i found out a way to open it...but the little piece is broken that i need to buy...prob 5 bucks at the honda dealer when it should be .50 cents..******* rip off...oh well.
